DESTINATION : Easter Island

Easter Island is one of the most mysterious places on earth as well as one of the most remote inhabited places as well. The nearest location is Pitcairn Island at 1,289 miles away which is the most remote inhabited place on the planet with Chile being 2,350 miles away. But Easter Island is most famous for its 887 monumental statues built by the Rapa Nui people from as far back as 1100 CE. This World Heritage Site is for the true and dedicated backpacker.

It’s listed among the nations around the globe by wikipedia. It’s human population is 50 persons. After I requested the question which country was the littlest on the planet, to be certain, nobody pointed out Pitcairn island.People clarified Monaco, plus some Vatican.

    Hi all

My spouse and i have about 16 days for the route that is roughly the following:

Peru (Lima-Pisco-Cusco) – Bolivia – Chile (lower to Osorno) – Argentina (Patagonia-Buenos Aires-Iguazu Falls) – South america (destination Rio)

It appears bus is the best way to travel, so that is what we’ll do. I am wondering just how to split in the time. Really, I have to exercise the number of days we ought to dedicate for Peru lower to Santiago, as we are thinking about flying to Easter time Island from Santiago for any week’s return flight after which transporting up with the relaxation from the journey as above (so clearly have to leave enough days for that relaxation and never be hurrying).

Any advice is a lot appreciated! Thanks.
