Don’t Lose Your Cool This Summer: Visit a Water Park

Some Top International Water Parks

Families traveling abroad this summer will have their choice of which splashy cool destination to visit. With some of the world’s best water parks located in places like the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Malaysia, there’s no need to get steamed up.

The Las Cascadas Water Park, the largest water park in the Caribbean, draws just as many adults as kids. There is a children’s pool area, and the Speed Slide, Water Tunnel and the Bomb for a faster water ride experience.

In the UK, the Sandcastle Water Park is a top tourist attraction in Blackpool. It features more than 18 slides and attractions such as water chutes, water slides and wave machines. The park also caters children’s birthday parties.

An alternative to spending time in humid outdoor weather is the Seagaia Ocean Dome in Miyazaki, Japan. At 300 meters long and 100 meters wide, it’s the world’s largest indoor water park.

Malaysia’s Sunway Park, located near Kuala Lumpur, is popular all year long. Enjoy the world’s largest manmade surf beach, the park’s Waters of Africa Congo Challenge or an interactive water playground for young children.

Water parks are always a fun way to beat the heat in the summer, especially if the nearest beach is too far away. Advantages to the watery attractions are that they offer something for all ages and they are professionally supervised for safety and cleanliness. Unlike other attractions, the splashing water has a calming effect and spending a few hours at a water park leaves the whole family relaxed and soothed.

But no one country has cornered the market on fun and there are a number of popular water parks in the U.S. Some, as expected, are near the coastal areas. Others are inland but no less spectacular.

Popular U.S. Water Parks

Orlando, FL has Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, both inspired by Disneyworld. Typhoon Lagoon has the world’s largest outdoor wave pool and it is built around the theme of a typhoon that wrecked a beautiful tropical paradise. The park’s focal point is a shrimp boat lodged against a mountain that spews a 50-foot water geyser every 30 minutes.

Blizzard Beach is built around the theme of a freak snowstorm in Florida, resulting in the area’s first ski resort. The snow quickly melted and, as the story goes, what was left was a series of ski jumps and chair lifts in the water. Inevitably, it was transformed into a water park.

Six Flags Over Georgia’s White Water has more than a dozen water attractions in its Wildwater Lagoon ranging from mild to maximum intensity. Some of them include:

  • Bahama Bob Slide
  • Bermuda Triangle
  • Black River Falls
  • Buccaneer Bay
  • Captain Kid’s Cove
  • Run-A-Way River
  • The Tidal Wave

The attractions at Water Country, located in Portsmouth, NH include Adventure River, a giant wave pool and even a toilet bowl ride. The park provides picnic tables for guests to bring a picnic lunch and eat without abandoning the fun. New this year is Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror water ride, the first of its kind in New England.

When vacation time comes, there are plenty of attractions to keep cool this summer. Exploring will reveal some great water parks in Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin and elsewhere. So grab the swimsuits and sunglasses. There’s no need to let soaring temperatures spoil the fun!

I believed about taking my loved ones for an indoor waterpark the coming year consider I have not visited one I need some help. I had been searching in a couple in Wisconsin, but I’m not too sure yet. Do you know the best indoor water parks you have have you been too? Also which of them would be the best cost smart.

Just how much will it cost to get involved with water parks without having the packages which includes it? Just how much does food cost at both places? What exactly are other particulars?
