DESTINATION : Belize Barrier Reef

Frighteningly beautiful when viewed from the sky but a calming paradise when scuba diving and snorkeling in this 1,000 feet wide “Great Blue Hole” flourishing with one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Even for a jaded vagabond, this coral reef is a wonder to behold. “The most remarkable reef in the West Indies” – Charles Darwin.

  • I had been planning a vacation to one of these simple places with my hubby, and that he want to go diving (I not have the license). Anyway, I’m wondering if Cozumel is way better than Playa del Carmen for your purpose.

    Thanks!

  • I appear to keep in mind a tale about a few daredevils who went diving in the large vat of beer in a major brewery, for like 12 minutes approximately. The carbonation should have been brutal around the scuba equipment, however i imagine diving in any fruit juice will be a lot simpler. Anybody have insight relating to this subject?
